In 1990, Ed Stratton founded Zero-G Limited trading under the name Time+Space. During the early 90´s Time+Space rapidly became the largest distributor of soundware in the UK and Zero-G one of the most critically acclaimed sound developers in the world.
In early 1997, the decision was made to split the operations into two separate companies by creating a new offshoot company (Time+Space Distribution Ltd) which would then be able to concentrate exclusively on the quality UK distribution of world-wide sourced third-party products, without distractions or conflict of interests. This left Ed and Zero-G Ltd to concentrate purely on quality sound design & publishing while continuing to work closely with Time+Space Distribution Ltd – now under the direction of his sister Zia McKie.
Over the years, Time+Space have gained a reputation for providing a goldmine of musical inspiration; a place where recording artists, songwriters, producers, engineers, DJs, recording studios, and sound designers all over the world can find all the sound material they need, in one place, to create demos, records, remixes, commercials, jingles, post productions, sound tracks for film, theatre, musicals, live performance, computer games and multimedia productions.
