In the download file you will find the following handy instructions on where you need to place the update files.
Important: Make sure to close Kontakt (or unload any instances of Kontakt you have loaded in your DAW) before proceeding! It is also recommended that you BACK UP your current Instruments and Resources folders (within your Project Alpha folder) to a safe place before installing.
PC ONLY: Simply drag the Instruments and Resources folder into your current Project Alpha folder. Select ´yes´ when asked if you want to merge the contents of the folders. Select ´yes´ when asked if you want to overwrite any of the files.
Mac: Drag the Resources folder into your current Project Alpha folder. Select yes to replace. Drag the CONTENTS of the Instruments > Braaaams folder into the Instruments > Braaaams folder in your current Project Alpha folder. It is important not to drag the folder itself, because this will end up deleting all of the existing patches!
All of the patches should then load up using the new interface. There should also be two new patches in the Braaams folder: Braaam Layers - KS tuned and Braaaams - KS tuned. These are modified versions of the v1 Braaam patches that have been designed to work with the new Keyswitch Tuning feature.
The new Keyswitch Tuning feature can be turn on/off on all instruments in Project Alpha from the quick KS button now found on the interface update. This handy feature now expands the octave range for all samples within Project Alpha.
