Superior Drummer 2.0 was released a year ago to a whole host of first class reviews and industry acclaim. Re-developed for optimized use with e-drums with more effective use of sample layers and much improved loading times, it includes custom MIDI played by Nir Z and accessed through Toontrack´s customized MIDI engine and arranger EZplayer® pro. It also features stand alone capacity through Toontrack solo and has been fitted with, 5-band EQ, high and low pass filter, compressor, gate and transient designer filters.
The first expansion pack for Superior Drummer 2.0 – SDX: ´The Lost New York Studios´ was released at the end of March and contains unique sample recordings from two legendary New York Studios - Hit Factory NY and Allaire Studios, both of which have now sadly closed. The expansion pack features kits recorded with seven kick drums, thirteen snares and a wide variety of cymbals and receives an excellent 10/10 review in this month´s Computer Music magazine.
