This month sees the release of Toontrack's third expansion pack for the award winning drum sampler Superior Drummer 2.0. The Custom & Vintage SDX features extensive stick and brush recordings of a unique collection of drums and cymbals, giving access to the cream of custom and vintage drums, built by craftsmen from the 1920s right up to the exceptional instrument makers of today.
Following that, in November, Toontrack's ninth expansion pack for their incredibly popular EZdrummer software is due for release. Moving away from the 100% acoustic libraries produced to date, the Electronic EZX provides a modern collection of classic, circuit bent and resampled electronic drum sounds from pristine classics to otherworldly one of a kind bends and gritty must haves.
