Spectrasonics releases Omnisphere & Trilian v1.2 and 'Omni Live' iPhone App

Spectrasonics have released Omnisphere(r) version1.2 with full 64-bit cross-platform support for the award-winning virtual instrument. The Omnisphere update features over 200 new Omnisphere patches for over 7,000 total sounds in the factory library.
Version 1.2 includes new features and enhancements to the Spectrasonics STEAM Engine(tm) including improved browser features, new synthesizer filter algorithms and a new ´Sample File Server´ function giving the software the ability to go beyond 32-bit memory limits on Mac OSX systems. With the new update Omnisphere joins Trilian and Stylus RMX(r) as fully Mac and Windows native 64-bit plug-ins.

To complete the trio of new offerings, Spectrasonics have made available a free iPhone app, Omni Live(tm) that turns an Apple iPhone(r) or iPod Touch(r) into a wireless remote control of the "Live Mode" of Spectrasonics´ software synthesizer Omnisphere.
Omni Live uses the iPhone´s touch screen allowing multi-touch, wireless remote sound selection of the Omnisphere plug-in on the user´s computer. Users can download the free "Omni Live" App from Apple´s App store directly from their iPhone or iPod Touch.
