Tuesday, April 3, 2012
Despite the fact that it's been over 3.5 years since Spectrasonics´ Omnisphere was released, the flagship power synth continues to reap the awards and accolades.
Towards the end of last year, Omnisphere was voted the world´s best VST plug-in synth by Music Radar readers, then in January, the instrument picked up a prestigious TEC award at the 2012 NAMM show for Outstanding Technical Achievement in the Musical Instrument Technology Software category.
This latest award see Omnisphere voted Best Software Instrument by the readers of Keys magazine in Germany. The annual awards ceremony, which was held at the Musikmesse show last month, sees the readers of all PPVMedien magazines including Soundcheck, Keys, Tastenwelt, Drumheads and Guitar deliver their verdict on the instruments, equipment and software they use and therefore the awards are a unique honour for the winners’ special achievements and products.
Congratulations Spectrasonics!
