One of the most comprehensive harp glissandi libraries
CineHarp is one of the most comprehensive harp glissandi and pluck sample libraries available today. CineHarp offers composers over 900 unique glissandi choices programmed in easily accessible patches.
CineHarp is the perfect addition to the film and TV composer´s orchestral template and comes in Gigastudio 3.0, Kontakt 2, and EXS24 formats.
The idea for CineHarp Glissandi came when two former USC Film Scoring students, Mike Patti and Michael Barry, had a conversation about orchestral mockups. They realised there was a plethora of excellent harp pluck samples out there, but there was a gap in the area of sampled harp glissandi. And so, CineHarp Glissandi is here to fill that gap.
With CineHarp Glissandi, you get five scale tunings in all keys:
- Major
- Harmonic Minor
- Whole Tone
- Diminished Scale
- Half Diminished/Dominant 9
Each scale tuning was sampled in a variety of glissandi styles with mod wheel controlling the length of glissando:
- Straight Up (Short, Medium, Long)
- Straight Down (Long)
- Swirled Up (Short, Medium, Long)
- Ad Lib (Gentle up/down, Swirly, w/ nail)
In addition to all that, each glissandi style was sampled in forte and piano dynamics, controlled by velocity. The possibilites are endless!
