"When producing and composing for a wide range of modern musical styles, there is nothing like RG. Loaded with tons of amazing and inspiring presets, RG pushes the boundary with tight guitar based grooves and hooks. The deep and easy to use FX section combined with the amount of variety in the presets alone is staggering. RG really inspires creativity." – Shawn Patterson, Top film and tv composer (Ren & Stimpy Show, Monkey Bone, Cheap Date)
"As an inspirational composition tool, RG is peerless – it’s like having an awesome sample library in completely editable format. Simply fire up RG, scroll through the many presets, edit one you like, build a beat behind it and you’re on your way to a fresh, guitar-powered track in minutes." - Computer Music (Rating 9/10)
"After just a few minutes of previewing RG´s presets and learning about it´s capabilities, I couldn´t wait to jump into the program and use it on my new film ´The Last Day Of Summer´. It´s definitely now one of my go-to soft synths!" - Marc Jacobs (http://www.majproductions.com/)
By using the RG on board sequencer it is possible to create classic Rhythm Guitar grooves, but beyond that you can use the synthesizer features and effects to make fresh new edgy guitar grooves. To play the grooves RG is using a keyboard layout of major chords and minor chords, each with two sequence patterns (A or B) option. It is only a matter of hitting a single note in the major keyboard range or minor keyboard range and the groove plays.
The sound sets are clean sampled guitars, which gives you great freedom and flexibility when using the synthesizer features and effects of RG.
Guitar types included:
The classic Fender Stratocaster electric guitar.
A 8th note groove type Steel String acoustic guitar.
A 16th note groove type Steel String acoustic guitar.
PLUS! New 1.5 updates includes muted guitar model!
The synthesizer parts of RG include a classic analog modeled synthesizer filter, LFO, envelopes and modulation section. The effect section can be built up by using up to 3 effects at a time. Included are MIDI time-based delays, chorus and also speaker simulators, phaser, flanger and many more.
