This library provides basic rock construction kits for complimenting symphonic orchestral music. Especially those epic and action-full trailer tracks sometimes need more kick and a great way to achieve this is by adding guitars and rhythm section. For this we’ve created a new and very easy to use construction kit. Providing six friendly chord based live recording sessions of a powerful rock band. RockHard arrangements all contain drums, bass and electric guitars.
Key and BPM
RockHard provides tracks in two keys. D minor and E minor. So samples are easy to inter combine with each other. And friendly to use for your cinematic orchestral tracks. Since film and game producers often write in these keys we thought we should stick this to make the RockHard library easy to integrate in these commonly used tonal spectrums.
Since most of these tracks are going to be basic building blocks for fast and heavy action film or energetic game sequences all tempos are recording between 100 and 130 BPM, giving the user a broad range of speeds to choose out of. All provided formats selected by Sonokinetic for this RockHard library support time stretching without loosing too much quality. Fine tuning and choosing the right tempo for scratch will result in a very realistic and easy adjustable sequence. It’s to the composer/producer to find out how far to stretch the envelope. Sonokinetic guarantees the best quality when stretching 10 to 20 BPM up or down.
Construction Kit Principle
RockHard recording sessions are split up into very easy to use ‘building blocks’. Sonokinetic sliced the chord progressions up into block of 16 , 4 and 1 bars. Occasionally half bars and breaks are provided in each section. As for Endings and break-ending are located at the top of each sample set section towards the end of the selected keyboard octave. Every sample set has a similar buildup. Starting at C-1 or C0 up to C5. Since all instruments are provided in single mode as well.
