The Soundscan™ team continues to innovate with this groundbreaking collection of rare vintage instruments often impossible to find in synth or samplers. Harpsichord, Piano Forte, Accordion, Celtic Harp, Viol and flutes are presented here with one thing in common: outstanding quality and no-nonsense usability.
Five Harpsichord multisamples demonstrating the variety of tones available with this venerable instrument: check out the ballsy 16+8 to appreciate the vast range of possible uses, from classical to funk! The Piano Forte, ancestor of the modern piano, has a distinctive resonnant quality that will cut through in any mix.
Three variations of the classic accordion are provided, including one typical of classic western european folklore. The celtic harp has a dreamy quality best featured in the “mute” program, as well as ff and pp programs. The viol is one of the most sought after multisamples of all, presented here with velocity switching patch, as well as mute and pizzicato variations. The flutes wrap up this collection with two great flute textures: Alto and Bass.
