The STC-2 employs a one-inch, gold-sputtered capsule and is ideally suited for recording vocals, spoken word and acoustic instruments.

A ‘spider’ suspension mount is provided, which helps to isolate the sensitive microphone from any transient noise travelling through the mic stand.
