EZDrummer Update
The latest EZDrummer update (112) is available from the Toontrack website for all registered users. The update was released in February 2008, and is essential for users experiencing any problems. Specific improvements and fixes are listed below:
- Registry access fallback implemented (Vista compatibility).
- Bad IDs generated by VPN software installed is now handled more gracefully.
- HomePath is reset to default if path points to nowhere on Mac.
- Improved loop syncing in ProTools PT 7.2 and above.
- Number of factory mixer presets can now be up to 9999.
- Host is blocked from reading a savefile until the plugin is properly initialized.
- Fixed an initialization bug for MIDI-control of GUI controls.
- On Mac correct flash tutorial is displayed.
- Rogers snare corrupt samples fixes included.
There is also an update for the EZX Cocktail kit that is included free with EZDrummer. Again, any users experiencing problems should download this.

Solo
This is a small application that allows users to access and use the EZDrummer software as a standalone application. With Midi in/Out options and the ability to choose any of the EZX kits, this is a great tool for all Midi drum owners who simply want to “plug and play” their kits and trigger Toontrack’s excellent libraries of drum sounds.
EZplayer Free
EZplayer Free is the MIDI browser from Toontrack´s EZdrummer interface with added functionality. It allows users to add, catalogue, audition and use your MIDI files with your favorite drum sampler. This runs as standalone or as a plugin, so you could load this up within a sequencer and drag and drop your own categorized midi parts directly onto a midi track assigned to the EZDrummer software.
EZXpander owners
Don’t forget to download the bonus midi files once you’ve registered your expander packs from the downloads section in the user area.
