• I can not read the EXS24 files from my Sound Scan disc. How can I make them load in the EXS24 sampler?

Unfortunately there is a problem with a few of the Sound Scan discs.

The EXS24 files appear in the EXS24 folder on the disc but they do not load in to the EXS24 sampler when imported. This is because the files are missing the .exs extension.

Please download the FileRenamer application for OSX to add the .exs extension to all of the files.

Copy the EXS24 folder to your desktop then use the FileRenamer to rename/ add the .exs extension to all of the files.

When you have added the .exs extension you can now import the files into the EXS24 sampler in Logic.
