Coming Soon - Rob Papen announces Quad synthesizer as VST plug-in

Synthesis king Rob Papen has announced the impending release of a new VST synth plugin called QUAD which will be added into the eXplorer 6 bundle at no extra cost!

The QUAD synthesizer was originally designed for the Reason platform as a Rack Extension and will make a very welcome addition to the current Rob Papen line-up.

The history behind QUAD

To give you a taste of what to expect in the VST/AU/AAX plugin format... Rob Papen QUAD for Reason features two oscillators with a seemingly simple arsenal of classic waveforms. The sonic palette is huge through the vast modulation possibilities that QUAD has to offer. The oscillators can be combined through many cross-modulation functions – generating a wide range of harmonics.

The next steps in the sound sculpting are the Phase Distortion and WaveShaper. These tools are brought to life by four XY-Pads, which can be moved through an extensive modulation matrix. The movements can be recorded as automation directly into Reason’s sequencer.

QUAD’s oscillators are complemented by two top-notch analog-modeled filters, an arpeggiator, and two high-quality effects processors.
