KVR Audio has announced the winners of their Readers' Choice Awards which have been nominated by KVR's web visitors from thousands of products in each category.
And we're very pleased to see that several Time+Space instruments and plug-ins have been announced as winners including...
Favourite Virtual Instrument
The overall winner for Favourite Virtual Instrument is the many-layered and feature-rich Spectrasonics Omnisphere.
Here's what KVR had to say about it. "It's a classic "go-to" instrument because it incorporates just about every type of synthesis imaginable, the ability to import, process and playback samples, an extensive arpeggiator, and even has a database of mapping for many popular hardware keyboards and controllers. If you have an opportunity to watch designer, Eric Persing, demonstrate it, jump on it."
Favourite Soft Synths
The very cool Applied Acoustic Systems Chromaphone physically modelled percussion instrument wins in the Favourite World/Ethnic Virtual Instrument category.
AAS Strum GS-2 is the Favourite Guitar Virtual Instrument. GS-2 features realistic physical models and a well-crafted arpeggiator/sequencer to produce convincing guitar patterns.
Favourite Drum Virtual Instrument
This year KVR's favourite drum virtual instrument was the awesome Toontrack's Superior Drummer (and we wholeheartedly agree!)
Here's what KVR had to say about it. "As readers know Superior Drummer is helpful for drummers that want their personal feel and non-drummers that want to get real."
From everyone at Time+Space, we would like to congratulate all of the companies and developers who have done the amazing job of producing these magnificent products.
