VSL add two new Woodwind and String libraries – Regulus and Solaris – to their specialised Big Bang Orchestra series.
Solaris gives you a collection of woodwind tones and phrases which offers two main categories: Low Winds and High Winds. Arpeggios are performed in various chords, including major, minor, sevenths, diminished and augmented. You can choose to start the loops on the highest or the lowest notes, and you can define the exit notes as note cut off, highest, or lowest.
Regulus - FX Strings reveals an abundance of effects and unusual playing techniques, originally recorded for the Synchron FX Strings I Collection. Evoke mesmerizing soundscapes and inspiring loops played by a 50-piece string section, from lightly bowed whispers to rumbling swarms. Easily create a panoply of colours and entire sonic worlds by simply holding one or two keys.
As a double celebration, VSL has also discounted both BBO instruments in October by up to 32%
