Create wierdly cyclic motion in your sound with Flanger. It's sort of similar to a sweeping comb filter.
Flanger Creates a flanging effect by mixing the audio with a slightly delayed version of itself. The length of the delay can be adjusted manually and modulated. Optionally, this effect can also add a phase shift between the dry and wet signals to create an infinite barberpole-style flanging effect upwards or downwards.
Adjusts the minimum delay.
Depth of delay modulation. Added on top of the minimum delay set by the delay knob.
Enables the phase offset and motion functions of the effect.
Stereo spread between left and right channels. Affects delay modulation and phase offset.
Rate of delay modulation.
Phase offset between dry and wet signals.
Rate of modulation for the phase offset.
The dry/wet mix of this effect. A lower value will let some of the unmodified signal through.
Feedback of the wet signal back into the delay line.
Flanger is one of a growing collection of effects units called Snapins.
Snapins are regular effects plugins (VST/AAX/AU) that also work as effects units in our modular Snapin Hosts; Phase Plant, Multipass, and Snap Heap, allowing you to create your own unique effects combinations. They are lightweight and powerful plugins that present you with the important settings in a no-nonsense way, so you will be using them like a master in no time.
Snapins can be purchased individually or you can take advantage of bulk discounts by buying or upgrading to one of the Kilohearts Toolboxes.
