Gem Comp76 FET Compressor

Comp76 Fet Compressor is the ultimate tool for professional engineers who mix with no compromises. Built-in Parallel Compression Parallel compression is a powerful mixing technique which helps improve the overall impact of the track while leaving the transients intact. It is achieved by summing the compressor output to the original track: with Overloud Comp76 you do not need to create complex routing inside the DAW: just turn the Parallel knob! Built-in Mid-Side Processing You can separately compress the mono and stereo elements of the track, using different compression settings for each. This gives you complete control of the dynamics: you can squeeze the stereo aspect to tighten the room mics and get an in-your-face drum sound. Overloud DOPAMINE is the emulation of two classic tape encoding processors, used as enhancers. It is designed to revive individual tracks as well as complex mixes while preserving their natural tone. Overloud DOPAMINE does not introduce unpleasant artefacts like the exciters do: in fact it dynamically balances the harmonics that naturally exist in the original audio rather than generating non-existent harmonics by synthesizing them. It has a Proportional-Q design, meaning that the bandwidth of the filters becomes narrow when the gain of the filter increases.
For low gain settings, the EQ delivers a smoother tone: its character becomes more and more aggressive when the bands gain band is raised.
This design makes the EQ550 unique.
