Designed as an expansion for Overloud's revolutionary SuperCabinet IR processor, this is a systematic capture of a Jensen® P10R AlNiCo speaker, from the Vintage series, installed in three different cabinets: a 1x10" Open Back cabinet, a 2x10" Open Back cabinet and a 4x10" Open Back cabinet.
This makes for a total of 864 IRs that were developed in conjunction with a Jensen® Speakers product specialist, in order to recreate the most authentic playing experience—as if you were playing the original speaker!
This library was created for the TH-U SuperCabinet that allows you to:
- Graphically browse the IRs in the library
- Blend multiple IRs and create totally custom and huge stereo guitar tones
- Compose new cabinet tones with the unique Multiband mode
- Export your crafted IRs in .wav format for use with all major hardware modelers and software IR loaders
The P10R is a 25W AlNiCo speaker from the Vintage Series. It is a pivotal speaker in the history of Jensen® speakers, as it has been installed in some of the most revered amplifiers in American tone history such as the Bassman Tweed*, the Super Tweed* and Brown, the Bandmaster* Tweed, not to mention the Vibrolux* Tweed, plus many others. Its shimmering, yet throaty and vibrant tone is one of the signatures of the Tweed era and inspired the start-up of the British tones. It was the first speaker reissued by Jensen, presented to a restricted panel of partners at the 1999 Summer NAMM show. Since its reissue, it has been adopted in many Fender* vintage reissue amps as well as in original designs like the Vibro-King* and other top notch vintage inspired American amps.
The series of the official Jensen® IR Libraries is growing every day! Every library in the collection was created after extensive sampling and editing work in conjunction with Jensen® Speakers product specialists, in order to have perfection in every capturing step.
