Eventide Clockworks has revolutionized the audio industry by creating the world’s first studio effects processor – the Instant Phaser – and pro audio's first digital device, the Digital Delay Line. Over the course of the following decade, Eventide would release the world's first Harmonizer, the H910, along with the other industry firsts: Omnipressor, Instant Flanger, H949, and SP2016.

Now, producers and engineers can evoke the classic effects heard on countless records from the last 50 years with the Clockworks Bundle. Painstakingly modelling every aspect of these hardware units was neither quick nor easy but now the must-have sonic beauty of these classic boxes is available for use with your favourite D.A.W. live or in the studio.

Instant Phaser

Released in 1972, the Eventide Instant Phaser began the studio effects revolution by successfully simulating tape flanging, an effect that’s been at the core of legendary albums for the last five decades. Modeled on the original hardware unit, the Instant Phaser Mk II plug-in accomplishes the same legendary sound with all the analog personality, smooth modulations, and inherent musicality. The capabilities have been expanded, and now you can even take your phaser on an excursion from the 70s far into the future with the delightfully characteristic “Age” knob. Outfitted with a complete host of control options, the Instant Phaser Mk II is out of the rack and into your plugin arsenal.

Omnipressor

Introduced in the early 1970s, the Omnipressor® was the first dynamics effects processor of any kind. Invented by Eventide's founder, Richard Factor, the Omnipresssor, made a host of effects possible. It featured variable control of all aspects of dynamic modification. It also introduced the notion of the 'side chain' and foretold techniques that today we take for granted like 'look ahead' processing.

H910

The Eventide H910 Harmonizer® was the world’s first digital effects processor. With its unique combinations of pitch shifting, modulation and delay, the H910 can be heard on countless ground-breaking works by artists from AC/DC to David Bowie to Frank Zappa. Simply put, nothing sounds quite like it.

Instant Flanger

The Instant Flanger Mk II brings the great sound of vintage tape flanging to your plug-in toolbox. An authentic emulation of the original 1975 studio rackmount, the Instant Flanger was famously used on David Bowie’s “Ashes to Ashes” and Cyndi Lauper’s “Time After Time."

H949

In 1977, Eventide released the H949, standing on the shoulders of the H910 as the second in Eventide's family of Harmonizers. It introduced a formal micro pitch-shifting mode, which is a great sound for lead guitar virtuosos. It also had the first Reverse delays and introduced a Random pitch

mode, which works great as an automatic double-track for guitars and vocals. And, the H949 conquered the 'glitch' by using advanced autocorrelation techniques.

SP2016
The SP2016 was the first programmable effects box available on the market. It introduced the concept of the ‘plug-in’ to the pro audio world back in 1982, with actual hardware chips that would be plugged in under the hood.

Revered for its signature reverbs, the SP2016 was notably used by Dave Pensado, George Massenburg, Alan Sides, Roy Hendrickson, Jack Douglas, and Mick Guzauski.

The lush reverb can be heard on countless hit records by Talking Heads, Adele, Mariah Carey, Eminem, and more. Now, 36 years later, this signature sound is available for your DAW.

Press Quotes

"Whether you're producing classic rock or cutting-edge electronica, Instant Phaser Mk II is as relevant and stunning as ever." - COMPUTER MUSIC

"Omnipressor is a compressor and expander/gate dynamics plug-in that goes about the business of compression in a very aggressive and shouty way. If you are looking for a subtle transparent compression then look somewhere else, if you want a compressor with bags of pump, depth and character then look no further.- PRO TOOLS EXPERT

"Quirky, exotic and a bit unpredictable, the H910 just sounds beautiful...It's a plugin that really favours experimentation and that can deliver some unexpected results, so don't be afraid to try on things you wouldn't initially expect to work.- GEARSLUTZ.COM
