Ampire is PreSonus’ State Space modeled guitar amplifier/cab/stompbox plug-in, available in Studio One® Native Effects, VST3, AU, and AAX formats for use in your DAW of choice. You get five amplifier models suitable for everything from rock to roots reggae, 16 diverse cabinet emulations, and a pedalboard full of 13 effects, 5 of which are also State Space modeled from classic stompboxes.

ALSO AVAILABLEGrow your Ampire with the High Density Expansion Pack featuring three iconic amps and six stompbox effects!

The heart of Ampire is a technology known as State Space Modeling: the surgical measuring and digital re-creation of hardware on a per-component level. Each capacitor, every resistor, all the diodes and every nonlinear circuitry element of the complete hardware schematics have had their behavior measured, modeled, and re-created... including even component-specific non-linearities. The result? Virtual amps and stomps that sound like you expect—with none of the shortcomings of vintage hardware, like spotty reliability and cumbersome weight.

Cabinet behavior was re-created using a combination of State Space Modeling and impulse responses, ensuring true-to-life cabinet resonance. We even added controls for microphone positioning, blending, and phase.

  • 4 guitar amps, 1 bass amp all re-created via meticulous State Space Modeling
  • 15 guitar cabs, 1 bass cab models using Impulse responses of classic cabs
  • 13 effects, 1 tuner
  • Mic Edit page to customize cabinet sound
  • Separate Pedalboard plug-in included
  • Available in Native Effects, VST3, AU, and AAX formats (Included in Studio One 4 Professional)
  • Easy installation, authorization, and updates from PreSonus Hub plug-in manager application

Ampire’s five amp models include the MCM800 1980s-vintage British high-gain amp; VC30 1970s-vintage British amp with signature tremolo/vibrato; Blackface Twin, a 1965 American amp known for its clean sound and spring reverb; Dual Amplifier, a heavy metal standard for high-gain sounds; and Amp STV, a model of the legendary late 1960s bass beast. In addition, Ampire introduces an updated pedalboard featuring State Space Modeling re-creations of several classic pedals, a precision tuner that is switchable between Standard and Strobe modes, and a choice of user interface options. A separate Pedalboard plug-in with just the pedalboard and its 13 stompbox effects models is included with Ampire.

“The tones do sound full and deep and do mimic the real deals rather well – you know you’re playing a Fender, Marshall, Vox and MESA.... If you like Ampire, then you need the High Density Pack.” -  Brian Johnston, Audiofanzine
